The Russian Church of St Nicholas the Miracle Worker, completed in 1914, is a fairy-tale building of golden onion domes and green tiles in a little garden on Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard. Inside are rich paintings, and in the crypt people leave handwritten wishes at the tomb of Archbishop Seraphim.
