Bus, taxi or lift
About Getting to Vitosha
Buses run from the city to Aleko and the lower slopes, and a taxi takes about half an hour from the centre. The lifts from Simeonovo and Dragalevtsi do not always run, so check before you plan around them. On the mountain, stay on marked paths and watch the weather.
